Nigel Farage today hinted he's open to a General Election deal with the Tories as Rishi Sunak faces a wipeout on 4 July. The ex-Ukip leader, who is now honorary president of Reform UK, suggested he and the Conservatives 'might have a conversation' ahead of polling day. Mr Farage pointed to 'huge favours' he had done for the Tories in the past and demanded the Prime Minister 'give me something back'. But he denied he was angling for a peerage and a seat in the House of Lords, revealing he had 'turned all that rubbish down in the past. link Goes to show, you never know what's been discussed behind closed doors. Personally I'd be very surprised if Farage got into bed with the Tories, but stranger things have happened.

Tories do some bloody stupid stuff, but I think this goes a bit too far and their instinctive breeding keeps them away from the wide boys. Sure it didn't apply to Grant Shapps, but the thing with Farage is he has not exactly been a supporter of their party and has a big gob. For them to do that would show even greater weakness. He's already told us he is going off to America to be paid some big political bucks to rent his gob, but over there they are even nuttier, so he passes as serious. Tories are in a hole, but it is of their own making and they need to put up quality candidates to gain back credibility. This would look like a quick fix stunt.
I just got the leaflet through today from them. they are putting up some young girl for election. The messages are the same old bland crap as usual. These people don't inspire anyone.

Trump if elected would hate having to deal with Labour branch of the Westminster party, the Farage has been dispatched to put the feelers out. As it looks increasingly like Biden is a lost cause.

These people don't inspire anyone. Of course Farage has not been supporting the Tories, he is affiliated to Reform UK so publicly he will obviously rubbish Labour and the Tories. But don't for a moment think that behind the scenes they're not talking, just as Labour are secretly talking to the LibDems, oh yes they are. Farage may not go to the US for months, yet the election is just a few weeks away, Farage's decision to go to the US does not detract from the fact that he may yet have a bearing on the outcome of this election. Yes I agree the Tories are in a hole but as I keep saying, the gap in the polls will get closer as the election gets closer and more of Starmers policies are revealed. I mean Starmer has pissed off the Muslim vote which he needs in at least 30 constituencies, he's pissed off Labour voters in Hackney North and Stoke Newington, he's pissed off the wealthy, and now he's pissed off pensioners too. Election day is a long way off and I'm sure he will piss off lots of other voters before the polls open on July 4th.

I don't think American administrations are at all bright, nor could I imagine Farage mixing with the brightest people on the planet. You want to look at Ren Zhengfei when talking about bright people. He beat the lot of them and all their predictions. No one in this country is talking about industry. Farage thinks industry is the fat geezer at his local pub pulling his London Pint. The world is all about industry and who is good at it and who is not. Our country is wreck right now and none of these geniuses have delivered what they promised. I've got to the point where I'm sick of listening to their bullshit. Reform in my view are the closest party in the business of understanding British industry and what it needs to do to survive so we can be fed. The rest are away with the fairies. The failures need ejecting.

He doesn't have to mix with them, he just has to listen, which has got him through before, there are some extremely bright people in the US who don't ignore what is going on in American politics, which probably why American politics is in such a mess, there is obviously a battle going on behind the scenes between the brightest people on the planet and those behind the scenes making the decisions in American politics. A battle for right versus just plain wrong.

I see Tice has said that there will be no deal with the Tories despite what Farage says. Tice is determined to "punish" the Tories.
I hope Tice thinks again about this. THere's room for a deal between Reform and the Tories that helps both parties. If they both stand candidates in every constituency and fight each other the big beneficiary will be Labour. I think there needs to be some limited form of cooperation.

Farage will just get sucked into the brain machine and come out more of a lunatic than before he arrived. I don't have any confidence in his abilities except I think he is a well-practised and skilled games show host. He and his clowns should resign. Anyone who takes part in the prole reality TV brainwashing disqualifies themselves from serious politics.

I think there needs to be some limited form of cooperation. Tice has got the right idea. He wants an independent party. You start stitching up the proles and it will bite back at some point and fail. If you don't bullshit anyone and keep doing the right stuff then you should break through, but people are very prone to thinking you will just cave in like all the bastards that are in Westminster. It starts off bright and rosy, only to find at a certain point there is a catch. It's just like the cunts market products in this country. It all sounds great until you read the small print. Take the Chinese perspective and make the product great all the way through and stamp each one with your mark. Eventually the mark will be the mark of quality. Remember how the Brits when Britain did quality used to advertise a product with a huge British flag, only to find out much later that it was all made in China where the quality was not good at the time.

But Reform are NOT going to win the GE. WHat they need to do is get a foothold in Parliament - a few seats. If they're competing head on with the Tories they may get NONE. Look what they did to Farage. They spent a fortune campaigning in any constituency that Farage stood in (breaking elector law of course). They were determined to keep Farage out of Parliament, where he could do a lot of damage.
Reform need to make sure that at the very least they get Tice and Habib elected IMO - and if that means doing a deal with the Tories (to make them obey electoral law) then so be it. I don't think Tice's strategy of standing in every seat is very clever.
