A PERSON has been sucked into plane's engine and killed at Amsterdam's main airport. The individual was caught in the engine of a departing KLM Cityhopper Embraer E190. Passengers and ground crew reportedly witnessed the horror death as emergency services rushed to the scene. linkImagine that, it must be like being sucked into a blender, and it was witnessed by passengers. |

I feel sorry for the engineers who are going to have to scrap that engine
In fact given my CV I'm turning this phone off in case I get asked to do one more freelance job
I noted the statement in the link that several witnesses said the person seemed to jump into the engine, suggesting suicide.
From my days designing the Euro fighter engine I believe if they went in head first it would be pretty painless, I don't fancy thinking too hard about the alternative though.
