Starmer under fire as it emerges Diane Abbott race investigation finished five months ago.....
Starmer has been plunged into a fresh row over Diane Abbott’s suspension after it emerged the investigation into her was completed five months ago.
The Labour leader has repeatedly refused to say whether Ms Abbott, the longest-serving Black MP, will be able to stand for the party in the 4 July general election......

The Labour leader has repeatedly refused to say whether Ms Abbott, the longest-serving Black MP, will be able to stand for the party in the 4 July general election......
If he brings back Abbott that will diminish Labours chances of winning the GE, and he knows it.
That racist liability should be kicked out of the Labour party once and for all.

The problem is that despite being black and a Labour supporter, she has repeatedly shown signs of being unPC. In fact the close observers (Abbott spotters) will notice she actually takes the piss out of PC and those cast iron views of the righteous on-message brigade. The on-message brigade often tries to put her down and believe she is a bit stupid, which in itself is somewhat hypocritical given the colour of her skin, but this is why it is so fascinating and never a dull moment when she is around. Try as they may to write her off as completely stupid, it tends to jar somewhat when one reads Wikipedia and notes she has a degree from Cambridge, which I think over 99% of her critics do not. You know how the jive goes. if you aint PC then you is uneducated, lol! |
