Oh boy, it's doesn't rain, it pours. It gets worse for Sunak. A Tory MP has been suspended from the party after she backed a Reform UK candidate to take over her seat at the general election. Lucy Allan, who has represented Telford for the Conservatives since 2015, said she was supporting Alan Adams, Reform UK, to be the next MP. Ms Allan announced in June 2023 that she would not stand for the seat and is one of 78 Tory MPs who will not seek re-election. www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2024/05/27/general-election-live-rishi-sunak-speech-starmer-service/

Talk about a parting shot. 😳 Indeed, and in another turn of events that doesn't bode well for the Tories, and bearing in mind the Tories are currently 150 candidates short for the election... David Campbell Bannerman, who served as an MEP from 2009 - 2019 and is currently chairman of the Conservative Democratic Organisation, has been barred from standing as a Conservative candidate. When he asked why he was barred, he was told that he hadn't been nice enough to Rishi on his social media! He has informed Conservative Central Office that if an amicable resolution cannot be found he will take legal action against the Conservative party. Quite right too.

It's full on war in the Tory Party.

And she was right.

Rishi Sunak is laughing as he's dumping third worlders in every corner of the country, despite the Tories being elected on grounds that they would oppose such a thing.
Representative democracy has failed.
