Gordon Brown sold off anything that wasn't nailed down to try to balance the books, they had to do a stock check at No.10 when he was evicted and examine his removal van for swag. Why don't you find out why he sold gold and what happened to the money received? Instead of spouting your normal ill informed nonsense.

And two huge gaping economic black holes where the NHS and State Education used to be. Left by Clark in 1997. Along with the economic loss of privatising oil, gas, water and electricity, etc. Opinion on parliaments of pain. Is just opinion. On how to deal with the mess made by the IFM. after 13 years of Labour rule they handed over an economy that needed public spending slashing by 25% A stunning example of economic rectitude... That is an insinuated lie, and you know it.

Yes the Treasury Coffers were empty when they were voted out of office, and left a note saying so how mature was that ? no wonder we had years of Austerity to replenish the Coffers good job to as Covid arrived So bad the Tories couldn't even get a majority vote in 2010 LOL. That note was apparently part of a tradition. The years of austerity was voted for at the 2009 G20. Brown and Obama proposed austerity and growth working together. Yet the Tories were warned 12 months earlier, by their own people, that the stock held for future expected pandemics was out of date. There is as ever never ending cock-ups and excuses by Tories. You call anyone that disagrees with you a liar time you left the playground and grew up, Brown was warned about the worldwide Financial Meltdown he did nothing then when it hit he claimed he was not warned some people claim he lied. I will not come down to your level and simply say he was very economical with the truth, it cost the UK Taxpayers £Billions to bail out UK Banks and thousands of people within the Financial Sector lost their jobs, his other achievement was to make UK Tax Laws even more complicated, he also raided workers private pension funds. Why are trying to deflect the topic with PPE desperation ? PPE before Covid and during was the sole responsibility of the Heads of each NHS Trust in the UK to ensure they had sufficient stocks in place at all times, some of them failed to do their jobs.

Labour certainly know how to make things worse than they already are; www.msn.com/en-gb/money/other/gordon-brown-selling-britains-gold-reserves-cost-the-country-21bn/ar-BB1m7mytAccording to Conservative Party analysis, the value of gold sold by Labour would have been worth £23.6 billion today – £21.3 billion more than what the Treasury received in 1999. Yep he announced he was going to sell off some of our Gold Reserve before he put in on the market, and the price of Gold plummeted how clever of him , what a Midland Banker

Don't be daft you old fool, he flogged off our gold on the cheap, he was stopped from selling off other public property to balance the books of the Labour mess, that's what they do, they bankrupt the country then flog off public assets to cover their failings, if the Tories didn't step in when they did every public asset would have been flogged off to foreign investors.

In 2015, Reeves was one of nineteen MPs to have her official credit card suspended by IPSA after racking up £4,033.63 in invalid expense spending – the third-highest sum of all nineteen listed.
Oh , and she's yet another lefty MP not to know what a woman is ( presumably you think she has ''substance''-I note you are studiously avoiding my post on the other thread where you think defining a woman is a ''stupid'' post) Challenged again if it was transphobic to say only women have a cervix, Ms Reeves said: "I wouldn't say that."
She added: "If somebody identifies as a woman or a man, they should be able to do so whatever their body parts are."Thanks. I would like to see first hand information on Reeves, that way one can get the full picture. You "noted" nothing, refer me back to the thread so that I can make sense of you accusation. The fact that human procreation is proven to be far from perfect is just too big a strain for people with fixed opinions. By the same token I'd like to see where Reeves qualified her 'no income tax or NI rises' pledge with the words witch finder added 'fir the average oerson' I mean I know the lying bitch has it in for me, just as Blair did, but I'd like to see her mealy mouthed escape clause for her promise as shown on the BBC pages so I know ....

Poor old Rayner knows Starmer/Reeves are plotting to oust her as deputy PM, Starmer wants Reeves for that job, that's why Rayner has gone uncharacteristically quiet, if he doesn't get rid of Rayner he wont last any longer than a year as PM, she will have the knives out.

He might be able to remove her from the Deputy Prime Minister podium but the members made her deputy party leader and by a significant lead over the other two contenders so he can't do anything about that

IPSA suspended her credit card they record the transgressions - google has the answers you claim to seek Anyhow How on earth would you know what I have noted? You post You noted nothing
I posted ''I note'' and that's precisely what I did Is ESP yet another of your claimed (non) talents You requested ''people of substance'' who can't define a woman - I gave you a list of some of the Labour shadow ministers (including your leader)and MPs who can' define a woman assuming you consider the party you worship to have repreentatives of ''substance'' You have studiously ignored the list Your memory failures and lack of comprehension are your own personal problems , stop trying to project them onto others

She was elected by the unions He can't get rid of her , deputy leader is not within his gift - he tried to fire her once and failed , she was immediately back with increased responsibilities He's the one who should be looking over his shoulder
