"Fiscal responsibility" spoken by the women that had her MP's credit card suspended because she was using it for everyday spending. She used it to obtain £4,000 worth of personal goods interest free lol.

There are plenty of other taxes that they can (and will) increase. You can be sure that the tax burden is only going to rise to ever more dizzy heights....

And goodbye capital gains tax relief ? Our resident left winger might even see his dream of pensions being means tested. After all, by giving schoolchildren the vote they won't need us coffin Dodgers any more

It's always a total car crash under any labour infestion of the house.. But the Tories have infested "the house" for 70% of the time since 1951, yet Tory fools like yourself lie about Labour in office LOL

In 2015, Reeves was one of nineteen MPs to have her official credit card suspended by IPSA after racking up £4,033.63 in invalid expense spending – the third-highest sum of all nineteen listed.
Oh , and she's yet another lefty MP not to know what a woman is ( presumably you think she has ''substance''-I note you are studiously avoiding my post on the other thread where you think defining a woman is a ''stupid'' post) Challenged again if it was transphobic to say only women have a cervix, Ms Reeves said: "I wouldn't say that."
She added: "If somebody identifies as a woman or a man, they should be able to do so whatever their body parts are."

Given the big questions that the BoE has got wrong over the years, this does not fill me with confidence..

I firmly believe that in the current economic and fiscal climate, where public services are in desparate need of resources, but where there is no room to inject any resources without either borrowing or putting up taxes, the way forward is to raid the rich and powerfull ... meaning the mega multi-nationals and mega consortiums, the big oil companies, those that have raked huge profits in while the rest of us have struggled.
Tax those who sit on land and wait for land and property prices to rise, introduce an on-line purchase tax, which would (A) give the treasury money to invest in public services, and (B) help our high streets by taking away some of the unfair advantage that Amazon for example has.
Rachel Reeves has not said that she wont raise taxes, she has said that she wont raise either Income Tax (for the average person) or raise National Insurance.

Given the big questions that the BoE has got wrong over the years, this does not fill me with confidence.. She was running for Parliament from the age of 25 and was elected by age 30. She worked at the BoE for a short time , BoE employs some 5000 staff ( and had other short term jobs) That hardly makes her an economist of much experience

I would like to see first hand information on Reeves, that way one can get the full picture. You "noted" nothing, refer me back to the thread so that I can make sense of you accusation. The fact that human procreation is proven to be far from perfect is just too big a strain for people with fixed opinions.

Given the big questions that the BoE has got wrong over the years, this does not fill me with confidence.. Time will tell if Labour are unfortunate enough to inherit the garbage economy left behind by a departing Tory Party.
