A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of committing a terror offence, police said.
The boy, who was arrested at an address in west London on Wednesday, was detained on suspicion of possessing information likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.
He was arrested as part of an investigation related to right-wing terrorist material, the Met Police said.
Commander Dominic Murphy said: "This arrest is indicative of a continuing and concerning trend of young people being drawn into and involved in terrorist-related activity."
The boy was taken to a west London police station and later released on bail pending further inquiries, police said.
Officers also carried out a search at an address in west London as part of the investigation, and inquiries remain ongoing.
Commander Murphy said about a fifth of all those arrested for terrorism offences last year were aged under 18.

I wonder how many are out there that have never been arrested yet?

Not much of a terrorist if he's released on bail, eh, Handyman? The police have to look like they're doing something. We have thousands of Hamas terrorist supporters marching for the genocide of Israel and the Jews, whilst the BBC chooses to totally ignore the UK's laws on proscribed terrorist networks. The police bullying kids is about as effective as they can be, especially while the Nation of Islam's London Mayor is controlling the MET thesedays.
