They play in European competition because they are affiliated to EUFA . Israel would not be able to play international sport in the middle east as many Muslim countries will not play them those that would were deemed a security risk . Europe was the nearest alternative where people in general don't kick off over religion Russia was banned because they invaded a sovereign state . Israel has protected itself from terrorism ,completely different Will you still cheer them on after Netanahu is convicted of genocide ? The only time I will cheer about anything to do with the middle east is when they put a 50 ft wall around it and keep all the nutjobs away from me and mine . But on Netanahu , is what Israel doing any different to the allied forces bombing of Dresden in February 1945 ? Indeed maybe it was worse as it was a specific targeting of civilians and I'm saying it was a necessary strategy and part of the defeat of the Third Reich . Defeating Hamas is taking a terrible toll on the populations of Palestine ,there is no denying that but what are Israel supposed to do ? |
