She wasn’t around in 1856 so you are correct , you have no idea . I do have a clue , in fact I have two clues . 1 air heat pumps are useless in winter unless the house is highly insulated. 2 there is a low take up of heat pumps sales . Heat pumps are one of the biggest cons that I have seen and Boris's £5,000 grants to install them is doomed to fail, writes construction expert ROGER BISBY.....
Bisbey” Few people seem to realise that it is pointless to install a heat pump unless your house is extremely well-insulated and draught-proofed to keep it airtight. “ Yup the well heeled followers of the doom goblin cult ignore this ‘ inconvenient truth ‘ (as Fatty Gore might put it .)

Heat pumps are just not suitable for any house that is not built to modern insulation standards . A better system would be to fit a heat pump/ gas boiler hybrid . Iirc Handyman had one .

I had no idea she was around in 1856. As for being crap, you haven't a clue. Care to provide a link to your mythical heat pumps of 1856 zany... finn-geotherm.co.uk/the-history-of-heat-pumps/#:~:text=The%20first%20heat%20pump%20as,dry%20salt%20in%20salt%20marshes. Peter von Rittinger The first heat pump as we know it today was built by Peter von Rittinger in 1856. He recognised the principle of the heat pump while conducting experiments on the use of water vapour's latent heat for the evaporation of salt brine. As a result, in Austria the heat pump was used to dry salt in salt marshes.

Bless your ignorance. Its quite sweet really. How do you go about depressurising the heat pumps you uninstall? Or do you just brick em up. Oh and note for you. Greta didn't invent the heat pump. The idea of getting 4 times as much energy out as you put in belongs to Peter von Rittinger in 1856, around the last time you had an actual thought of your own. It's not my job to remove heat pumps but it is my job to have a fucking good laugh when I see them stood on the drive of some poor sucker who tried one ,and it is ready for disposal..So I have answered your question so why not respond with answering mind rather than avoiding the thruth? Well obviously I knew you were lying when you said you were taking them out of a new housing estate that didn't have them. But you have no shame so no matter.

Air source heat pumps work very well. Its when they try to make them into gas boilers that they don't do so well. It would be great to have a genuine discussion about them, but that's not for this site where only clowns live. I only call in here for a giggle.

Total bollocks zany....That has nothing to do with modern heatpumps FFS. and if you knew anything on the subject he reconised the pricible in 1824 not 1856

Nearly right . “Few people seem to realise that it is pointless to install a heat pump unless your house is extremely well-insulated and draught-proofed to keep it airtight.”….that seems to include you . Gas boilers work well on houses that are less well insulated. You certainly are good for a laugh so you can call in again 👍

It's the end of a cycle and the beginning of another. Labour can only blow their victory if they do something extraordinarily stupid. For example, bringing back Corbyn and giving him something important to be responsible for.

The problem is the Tories are now so unpopular that Labour can spout lies and nobody challenges them, not even the Tories lol. I was watching PMQs and Starmer called Sunak a "billionaire PM". Why didn't Sunak raise a point of order and make Starmer apologise for lying? I came to the conclusion that not even Sunak can be arsed anymore lol.

My guess is that any challenge to that would be considered pedantry. As he is married to a billionaire
