The 'Barcelona defence' lol very good. Yes I watched Vennells tearfully reach for a tissue and I felt not a jot of sympathy for her, in fact I felt contempt for her. Hundreds of honest postmasters had their lives trashed some even committed suicide because they were wrongfully convicted of thieving, and she knew damned well what was going on. She absolutely must go to prison.

Just listened to an ex postmaster who lost everything. He listened to Vennells give evidence, afterwards he said; the only person she sounded sorry for, was herself.

I've listened to the Inquiry for most of today. My conclusion is that if Ms Vennels is telling the truth, she was totally unsuited to be the MD of a major organization.

Fuck me that was painful ,I dont think she is going to sleep well tonight ,when Williams said she can go home and think about it I thought she was going to take him up on his offer but she just mumbled her way down another cul de sac

In 1999, at a time when the "computerisation of the planet" was being lauded as being capable of solving, "within a few years", "all of the world's problems", a computer expert, after detailing "the things that could go wrong", concluded: "Chaos in inevitable".
From 2000 to 2012 £10 billion was spent trying to "computerise" the NHS ... most of the money spent "went down the drain".

I foresee the same disaster awaiting us with AI - it's capabilities have been massively overhyped.
