Probably another Russian sub that sank. Putin's navy has always been a bit shit, Kursk disaster for example. Completely preventable but they had to use a shit design for torpedoes (with hydrogen peroxide), because it was cheap. They discovered as we did in the 1950's, HTP is not something you want in a torpedo.

The trouble with sonar/scan images is they can make things that are possibly natural look shaped by some civilisation. … be that underwater or underground. … even archaeologists create features out of nothing extra-ordinary. Here is a better video of the anomaly filmed in better visibility. youtu.be/BQHrY3CeR5QA core sample should confirm whether this is just a natural feature. Can’t see many making a fortune from this treasure hunt … unless the Media paid well for their footage and story.

Anything is possible since Nato declared war on one of its own members by blowing up Nordstream 2,notice no one wants to talk about that terrorism these days.

Looking at the latest footage from this dive team suggests this could just be a bulk dump of material (cement/sand mix?) jettisoned years ago from a container ship during slack water that fell in a round heap, solidified and got eroded into a ‘Millennium Falcon’ style configuration. …. made it look slightly ‘man-made’. …. Internet speculation kicked in … and wild theories abounded. Another idea that also hasn’t been widely explored … is that it might be a very ancient feature (crannog type circle debris site) created by early civilisations that might have lived in this area before sea levels rose dramatically at the end of the last Ice Age… and obscured a history of Baltic lake dwellings. www.google.co.uk/search?q=Crannog+sites&tbm=isch&hl=en&chips=q:crannog+sites,online_chips:artificial+islands:3ZlxfJoRNKc%3D&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjKvfHK_d_7AhVFrxoKHaZtDFYQ4lYoAnoECAEQKQ&biw=1112&bih=697 As we know the North Sea also buried many ancient settlements that once flourished in this part of the World.

Having dived a few wrecks the first point I would make concerns the ‘runway’ on the sea bed. Many of the wrecks I dived show a similar pattern caused where the hull of the ship impacted and dragged along the sea bed before coming to a stop.
This ten year old story made reference to future plans to return. What became of those plans I wonder …
