Regardless of the Daily Mail, we don't actually have high unemployment in the UK.

We dont have austerity ?
We have a Chancellor talking about cutting taxes, whilst elderly people who cannot walk and are in pain cannot get hip replacements or knee operations.
We have a Chancellor who thinks cutting National Insurance is the best plan whilst thousands of children wait months, sometimes years for help with mental health.
Public Services are desparate for resources, capacity, staff and investment, but we have a government which thinks everything is fine, and money is better spent giving it away instead of putting it where it is badly needed.

Yes - he talks a lot about it. But the reality is that he has increased Public spending to levels last seen 70 years ago - the Tories make Crash Gordon look like Scrooge.

Interest rates were as high as 18% in the early 1980's and around 10% a decade later. People, typically lefties, complain about the Tories and high interest rates but the fact is, we haven't had high interest rates for more than 30 years.

Yup. Restrict illegal migrants having access to the NHS , reduce woke input and stop non essential services such as IVF and any medical treatment regarding gender reassignment. Rebuild the nuclear family to give children the kind of sense of belonging that disappeared since the state started to dismantle it. Introduce a levy of 1 pound on every Palestinian and rainbow flag .

The reason that interest rates got so high was because we were shadowing the Deutschmark as a precursor to joining the ERM and the single currency eventually. It basically crashed the economy. It was a warning.

What austerity? Public spending is through the roof Welfare spending is in the stratosphere Personal responsibility is dead and buried The only ones paying into the national pot are the private sector taxpayer and their contribution is being ever increased, the few carry the weight of the non contributors There is no austerity - far from it Austerity would be good - start by cutting public spending by 50%
