Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg has urged Rishi Sunak to strike a general election pact with Reform UK. He called on the Prime Minister to offer senior figures like Nigel Farage and Richard Tice the chance to be Tory candidates. The former business secretary said the Prime Minister should make a “big, open and comprehensive offer to those in Reform” to join the Conservative Party, as he argued a united Right would put victory at the next election “within reach”. Specifically, he said Mr Sunak should offer “candidate selection to senior members of the Reform Party such as the estimable Ben Habib, Mr Tice and of course, the one and only Nigel Farage”. link A Reform - Tory pact is unlikely I think, but not out of the question. Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg has openly asked Nigel Farage, Richard Tice and Ben Habib to join the Conservatives and it's worth noting that although they declined on air, they did not rule it out either. Personally I think a centre right 'dream team' that included among others, Suella and Priti, could save the Tory party.

Just for interest (lol).
Sir Jacob has just interviewed Nigel Farage on GB News. Although they are colleauges and respectful of one another any thought of a Reform/Tory pact was smartly nipped in the bud by Farage. He was having none of it, and he left absolutely no grey area. He said Reform UK will not form a pact with the Conservatives because the Conservatives are not Conservative. And who could disagree with that.

I can't see it.
Come the next election the Tories will sink like a stone, so it is not as though they have anything to offer Reform

Its in everyones interest for the Tories to be voted out, they stink in everyway. They need time out, to get rid of the cancer within, the lib dem bonnallacks if it happens. Im considering voting red just for that.
If Labour get in, they will fail big time too, its temporary, you cant have more of the same, but worse.

I agree with the above, I don't see what Reform would gain out of it.
The Tories, as they now realise, are a tarnished brand and this is too little, too late.

Personally I think a centre right 'dream team' that included among others, Suella and Priti, could save the Tory party. The problem is the Tories are both corrupt and stupid now. It is very difficult to purge an organisation of corruption if it is on a wide scale. For Reform to do what the Brexit Party did would be to deny the voter a choice. It would be better the other way around, where Reform have the manifesto and then Tories that align to it can join Reform. Like to give you an example why the Tories can't win is they have historically done over the working class. A successful Tory Party needs to give the capitalists the freedom to conduct business and be the bread winner and for the working class to support the party due to the capitalist principles resulting in higher wages, but at the same time fucking off the unions who are a menace to society. A worker does not need a union when employed by a capitalist because the capitalist looks after his workers like his own family. It seems to me Reform are more business-minded in that they are run by practitioners of capitalism. Farage is not really a capitalist despite once being a metal trader. Tice is born and bred. It was his grandfather who started his firm.

According to this mornings paper, Labour are in discussion with several One Nation 'Tory' MP's to cross the floor. This shows how the Tories have been captured by left-wing progressives and thus are in no position to join a pact with Reform (or anyone else on the right).
Let them crash and burn and build a real centre-right alternative out of the ashes.

Let them crash and burn and build a real centre-right alternative out of the ashes. It will be very difficult to build a competent and functional party around this system. I know the EU referedum proved that the people aren't in alignment with the corrupt establishment, but since that happened the attacks have increased.

I agree, the parliamentary conservative party has to rebuild itself from the top down with proper centre right Conservatives. What worries me about that scenario, what everyone should worry about, is five years of pro EU, pro immigration, pro net zero, pro woke Labour. Labour can and probably will do a lot of damage in five years, and I agree, it's probably where we're heading.
