More chance of the Barnett formula being replaced with a means tested system for public funding than Scotland ever leaving the UK.

It is just some fabricated nonsense to re-energise the hard of thinking and get them to vote SNP at the next election, all right thinking people can see it for what it so obviously is, however the SNP will still achieve seats in the UK House of Commons by this means, so not much more to be said, if the people of Scotland wish to be governed by criminals, perverts and conmem/women/other then so be it.

The bottom line is Holyrood has no legal mandate to declare independence and needs the consent of Westminster to do so - that consent will almost certainly not be given. Furthermore, even if Westminster did consent it would then need to go to Royal Assent - can't see the Monarch being happy at that, especially as they would lose cushty job titles for the lesser Royals.
