If there was any serious involvement by Tories, then a prosecution may not see the light of day. Maybe maybe not

During the recent flu outbreak, Boris Johnson said that he was not bothered about paying over the odds provided the UK got the drugs and equipment required. Presumably that included greasing a few palms. The public broadly agreed with the Blond Moppet, feeling that it was better to be poor than dead.
Now however, the UK is in the midst of one of its periodic fits of morality.
Can you not see the difference between 'paying over the odds' and fraud.

Can you not see the difference between 'paying over the odds' and fraud. Red Rum, as far as you're concerned the bottom line is, forget the details it's Boris Johnson so he's guilty. I'm fairly sure the UK population are relieved Labour weren't in charge during covid. I suppose you have forgotten that Starmer criticised the government for not locking down sooner, harder and for longer.

So what is the story? She isn't an MP, she isn't in government, so unless they can prove she bribed somebody then this story is going nowhere. Are they trying to say a millionaire businesswoman taking the opportunity to earn more millions, is corruption? Let's face it, anybody with a business brain would have seen COVID as a business opportunity to be milked... from this level right down to the puppy breeders that added zeros to their prices. This is a joke, yes?

Dappy actually made one point that I actually agree with " If it is true" the National Crime Agency as stated in the Guardian has executed search warrants seized documents, and as far as I am aware that investigation is still on going. These are allegations at this moment in time, again as far as I am aware nobody has been charged with anything so far, If it is true and accurate, then quite rightly all and anyone involved should the evidence support the allegations and is strong enough charges should be brought and those suspected of Fraud or any other offence should be tried by the due process of Law, not the media and speculation My view is that I'm not bothered about a legal case. I am extremely disturbed about the standard of Tory politicians and more so what people on here think is now OK.

Of course the greasing of few palms was acceptable to a few grease palmed Tories. And £27 million is not greasing a palms. It is downright corruption. As that money was put through several off shore funds to confuse.. . And you believe the fanny it was not corrupt. Even he of eating kangaroo testicles was greasing the palm of his friend on PPE. He was a publican. Not to mention the £37 billion on test and trace. That could not test or trace itself. Any one with half a brain would say. Why is a phone app not going to a phone company. It was billions squandered into the Bank accounts of Tory sleaze bags laughing all the way to the banks hoping the great unwashed would keep dying in thousands so they could pocket more sleaze money. And you are a apologist for that. FFS ding dong.

I think its sleazy but I can't see where it would be illegal. I might be able to help you here As a database admin at a challenger bank I have to take an annual assessment and make a formal declaration I haven’t taken a bung of this kind to facilitate financial service provision. The statute law in question is the bribery act of 2010 which makes these very acts illegal if I do them in my job. I’m a firm believer in equality. If I can no longer enjoy the bungs that used to be handed out to bankers and sellers of weapons to Arabs when I was a seller of weapons to Arabs, I am having a hard time understanding why a peer of the realm is exempt from that corruption restriction.

But as I understand it the fast track system that this company was awarded the contract under was supervised by Civil Servants - the fact that the girl nominated the company is irrelevant, the assessment and awarding of the contract were done by the normal procurement department. All she did was jump the queue. If you can prove that the Civil Service were bribed or coerced into awarding the contract you might have a case - but I have heard of no allegations like that.

It is hilarious that you are calling out dishonesty, yet you keep repeating the same lies lol. How about making a point that don't use lies, it might make people take your points seriously. This story does look fishy, but you are treating it all as proven fact. I would bet my house you wouldn't hold that same standard of proof to the SNP. Labour, the opposition parties, left wing media will have already run to the police with this story, so let's see if it develops before we decide on guilt.

The thread has nothing to do with what Labour may or may not have done, it is about what the Tories have done. They have ripped off the nation good style and are laughing at us all, their own supporters as well. Poor people are paying for Tory criminality whilst in office.

They did spend £37 billion on test and trace. And I am not going over it again with a Johnston apologist, who does not even understand the working of the bank of England. And I have given you links that it was wasted. As you continue to lie in some bizarre attempt to defend the indefensible. Apart from that. It was a phone app. Any one with half a brain would say. Ah lets give the contract to a phone company. Not the sleaze bags as they gave it to the wife of a Tory Minister. Some £37 billion, that cost the tax payer. That's me. Totally wasted on a bit of garbage that could not even track itself. In terms of your bet. With the SNP. What sleaze had you in mind. Which if it did. It would not cost you as a English tax payer one penny. As in true Tory apologist tradition you fire unfounded smear as some form of idiotic defence. What does it take to get through to you from Cummings testing his eyes. That you and others clearly swallowed that fanny hook line and sinker.. To the sleaze and corruption from Paterson to that idiot JRM, and his put on accent, the pantomime clown, lying to her late Majesty, into the billions wasted by incompetence and sleaze by the Johnston administration. That you are being taken for a mug. And for your info. Since it took power and in its 4th administration. The SNP have underspent every year. That despite the fanny and mis-information on that one. You also swallow hook line and sinker. www.gov.scot/publications/foi-19-02227/

The £37b was the orginal two-year budget you muppet, not what was spent. You must have a crystal because NOBODY knows what was spent yet because those figures are available yet. Read this carefully you might learn something. Not all of us are blinded by pollical bias. Some of us like to listen to all sides and form an opinion on what is likely the truth. I know that £37b figure is bullshit, and I know 85% of whatever was spent was spent on testing. So, when people say £37b was wasted on test and trace I call bullshit. I'm not saying money wasn't wasted, I'm just calling you out for using lies, and you know they are lies because you have read why the £37b narrative is not true, yet you still choose to repeat it. If you said "billions were wasted" then I would accept that as probably close to the truth, but not £37b ffs. I've never voted Tory, I'm closer to a Social Democrat politically. I can freely say that Boris was a liar and fucked up many things, I even said at the time he was a bad choice for PM. What I won't do however is accept unfair criticism on any political party. There is enough actually things wrong with the Tories without resorting to repeating lies lol.

What difference would the ensuing disaster be between two clowns. If Corbyn had carried out exactly the same policy as the buffoon Bojoke. You would be screaming for him to be hung, drawn and quartered. If Corbyn carried out his own disaster. You would be screaming for him to be hung, drawn and quartered. If Corbyn policy worked and only a tenth of the population died. And Hancock would not be eating kangaroo testicles. You would be screaming for him to be hung, drawn and quartered. I suppose you have forgotten that the government failed to stop football matches and race meeting. Resulting in a massive spread of Covid. On top of sending back the elderly to care homes. Resulting in thousands of unnecessary deaths. Twice the highest death rate per capita in the world. And I suppose you forgot that the lying racist criminals Bojoke wasted billions on filling up the bank accounts of the sleaze bags. At the expense to the tax payer. That's me. Which you cheer for. So how about explaining the disaster Corbyn would have caused.

There you go again, still a Johnson apologist. The test and trace wasted £37 billion before it was stopped, and I am not going over it again. In fact Test and Trace has not stopped it still continues to pay for consultants at £1000 a day. So it is probably more. Not to mention the enquiry. And lets be honest. You are saying it did not cost a wasted £37 billion. You are saying it was only £28 billion or whatever was wasted. . What am I supposed to say. Oh that's alright then. You are also missing out the fact. The contract was given to the wife of a Tory minister. Reeking of sleaze. Any half wit would understand if you are going to develop a phone app. Which you choose to ignore. Give the contract to a phone company. But it was more involved in just that.
