Well, i went to vote, and i handed over that free voter id form the electoral registration office gave you if you asked HARD - and not only was i the only one they’d seen hand one of those over all day, they DIDN’T know what to do with it and had to ring up to ask the returning officer !! Priceless !!

Wait a minute, before you laugh... There are some political commentators who this morning are asking, 'did he forget his ID intentionally'? Yesterday no one was talking about Boris, today everyone particularly those of a Labour persuasion, are talking about Boris. A genuine mistake, or a clever ploy to get his name back in the headlines at a critical time for the Tories? I suppose we'll have to wait for the book.

Boris later thanked polling station staff who refused to allow him to vote because he 'forgot' some form of photo ID. He later returned to the polling station with photo ID. This was s stunt, imo.

Of course it was a publicity stunt - no question about it It proves that the rules apply to all
