Europe has rules that it does not adhere too, the most notable being the human rights nonsense, the french doing what they want, like the farmers, fishing, immigration, and all else.
Like Ireland expecting Britain to take back the immigrants that went there from Britain.
The problem is that Britain observes the rules, but no one else does, then, like with Ireland, expect Ireland to play fair. Europe then expects Britain to accept un fair practice, and we do.
It is a british thing to observe rules, a northern european trait.
While all else laughs.

What relationship ?
You mean the one where our ruling classes have conceded to almost every wish of Europe for the past 50 odd years .And yes rules , we seem to abide by them even the ones we don't like . Europeans don't even the ones they like , they realise its a war between the ruling classes and them , we seem to want to cuddle them ,they chopped their heads off .
