Sunak needs to make up his mind about mental illness, on one hand he's kicking people off benefits and telling GPs people with mental illnesses should not be signed off sick, then on the other hand the likes of this monster gets to stay in the UK playing the mental health card. Couldn't agree more. Problem is left wing lawyers and charities are only interested in illegal immigrants. You mean Human Rights Lawyers, who include everyone. Don't like the law, then don't whinge, work towards changing it.

Which as the website you posted said, the decision in 2004 was not considered controversial in 2004, and was met with a general agreement. The reasons were. The UK had an expanding economy and thanks to the damage done by Thatcher there was a shortage of Skilled and semi Skilled plus business people, entrepreneurs, educationalists, professionally trained, Doctors Nurses and other health workers. The real problem was caused by the 2006 lead into the international financial meltdown of 2008 that stopped the UK expanding economy it its tracks.

Don't like the law, then don't whinge, work towards changing it. Changing it! Ha, don't make me bloody laugh . Left wing politicians and the EU worship Blairs charter for foreign criminals, otherwise known as the 1998 HRA, and the other spineless centrist shower euphemistically known as 'conservatives' are frightened to even mention it in case clueless lefties call them racists. For any meaningful change we will have to wait for a proper centre right Conservative government and the best way to achieve that is to have a Labour government. After five years of a pro EU, pro immigrant, pro net zero, pro minority, pro woke Labour government, the country will be begging for change.

You say my lefty agenda, but actually I supported the right government on this. πππ

Yes, no doubt Thatcher thought what she was doing at the time was good. Like Blair who wanted to "rub the rights noses in diversity". Like it or not, Blair fucked the social fabric of the UK up. And this was his legacy whilst trying to be the poster boy of the EU. A big driver in the vote to leave. Ironic or what?

Asylum is nothing to do with FoM. You've had this explained to you before, so not sure why you are conflating the two things again.
