By allowing millions of people to wander into the country from Africa, aren't we essentially giving our consent for them to use their version of consent? Why should sexual assault be any different to any other crime . We are not giving them consent in any other area so why should we when they act like cavemen toward women ? I get your point though , import the third world and you become it . We need more prisons |

We need more prisons My experience of foreign cultures, e.g. like say I'm in Malta or Italy maybe, as a foreigner it is very difficult to tell who is dodgy and who is not. In this country, after you have lived in an area for many years you can pretty much tell by the sound of their voice and their body language if they are upto no good. This is the problem we have. We Brits can not tell very well at all which black is a dodgy black and which is not. Africa has loads of different countries and they range from pretty civilised and close to western standards to the downright pirates. Actually I've heard one of the most dangerous places is Columbia. Never go there. |

You get regular gunfights in the prisons.
The thing is you really can't go around mistrusting everyone. I usually get it right. When I lived in Manchester I could pinpoint an accent to a particular region of Manchester and had to know who to trust. It was my business to make these judgments. Oddly enough one of the best customers I ever had was an Indian. By being able to trust the chap it ended up him passing me work from their entire community. You certainly could not trust all Indians, but apparently they have some sort of caste system. (grading)

The inside of a South American prison is hardly a gauge on the general population ,I dont think Cosmos and Saga would be running tours through the country if it was the most dangerous place in the world . That title is held by Afganistan followed by various middle eastern countries and those in Africa . The common denominator being the main religion is the religion of peace ,Asalamu Alaikum You say you usually get it right when weighing up who to trust ,I always get it right by not trusting anyone. Which is probably the best stance for people especially females to take when out and about in our multi cultural cities . Even a smile in the wrong direction can give some cultures the wrong idea . Thats what our country has become , a place where a girl can't smile at someone without fear that it may lead to some unwanted attention or even assault . |

I have a friend who knew someone who was murdered in Columbia. He had this great idea to get close to nature and camp in the jungle. It is a very shitty country and I don't know how they get the figures they do. It's the kind of place no one knows what is going on. It is lawless. They run tours to Jamaica as well. Jamaica is another very dangerous place.
Anyway, good point about women can't be women any more in this primitive backwater.
