Well the only symbol he was wearing was his kippah - which has absolutely nothing to do with the regime in Israel. It's like claiming that anyone wearing a hijab is a wearing a symbol of Iran. That you admit that wearing a kippah would cause confrontation simply confirms that these are antisemitic hate marches. They hate all Jews. Listen to the tape you posted and you will hear him say that the bag in which he was carrying his prayer shawl was adorned with stars of David. He was actively looking for trouble. He didn't just want to cross the street. He wanted to cross through a protest march, and when his attempt to do so failed, he went home to stir up support for trying it again. Now, unless he was a pro-Palestinian Jew, why would he have wanted to cross a protest march? A pro-Palestinian march is not antisemitic. They are protesting Netanyahu's regime, not the Israeli people. The star of David is a Jewish symbol that has been adopted by Israel, just as the Crescent and star is seen as an Islamic symbol and appears on the flag of some Islamic countries. |
