 So just suppose we assume this figure is accurate, and we can also guess at the number of horrific injuries incurred amongst those not actually killed. Having already endured over two years of a grinding war, even if it's in the belief that their fellow ethnic Russians had to be saved from wholesale slaughter,and a regime controlled by modern day neo-Nazis was being given massive supplies of weaponry, and so it was a growing threat that needed nipping in the bud now ...... the Russians as a nation, and particularly their servicemen must be longing for the conflict to end and to be able to return to a peaceful existence once the troublesome next door neighbour has been denazified, demilitarised and de-Natofied.

In the event of victory, how realistic is it that Vlad can say ....'Well I'm sure you all enjoyed that and we only lost about 50,000, so I've had an idea, instead of going back to a peaceful normal life ... how about we attack and take on the whole of NATO ? .... who's up for it .... let's march on Poland !'

There'd be nothing but horror at the prospect. In fact committing the number of forces necessary to hold Ukraine full time isn't something I can imagine them wanting to do. Insuring a more cooperative governance of a slimmed done (geographically) and much more sparsely populated Ukraine compared to the one they've been doing battle with, is much more likely to be the extent of Russian ambitions.

All the more achievable if Biden and the Neocons can be removed from the White House in November. That's if we can reach November without them having set the whole globe on fire.
