Seems to me that Police and Crime Commissioners are just another level of bureaucracy that cost £millions every year. Freedom of Information requests by the LibDems revealed Welsh taxpayers have paid more than £14 million for the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner in Dyfed-Powys between 2019 and 2022. www.lbc.co.uk/news/police-crime-commissioners-scrapped/I think it may be the first time I've ever said this but, I agree with the LibDems. |

Our first was an ex copper whose first act was to sack the politically motivated twat of a Chief Constable who replaced the CORRUPT twat we had before who ‘resigned on health grounds - with full pension of course’ ten minutes, and i mean literally ten minutes, before they were to be dragged into a tribunal to be dismissed. Following his action he was basically attacked by tory and labour alike and after he left the job a Labour appointee was given it snd their first task was to sack the new chief constable and deputy and appoint a politically aligned chief constable and a pride flag waving muppet as their underling There have been no politically independent appointments to the post of PCC since. |
