If you think that the problem is just Sunak, how do you explain that they are still at the same level they were under Liz Truss? The Tories issues predate Sunak a long way. Things have been nosediving since 2021... Partygate casts a long shadow. Here we agree. I do think that Sunak had the opportunity to change things though, but has been far too weak.

Sunak doesn't seem to think he has anything to be sorry for.

Sunak doesn't seem to think he has anything to be sorry for. Compared to his two predecessors, not much.

Andrew has no legitimate interest between say Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak - he would vote for neither - but he still seems fixated.
It's a bit like me endlessly whining about Jeremy Corbyn and suggesting that the party would be far better off with Jacob Rees-Mogg as leader - ie it would be completely transparent that my goal would be to replace the Labour party with another Conservative party

Care to explain? FWIW, Sunak may be innefective, but he has far more honour than Johnson.

...FWIW, Sunak may be innefective, but he has far more honour than Johnson. Possibly, but he's not half as much fun. I know who I'd sooner go for a pint with.

Even though through his mismanagement and the infatuation of the Tunbridge Wells blue rinse brigade, that pint may well be heading towards £10…?
