But The Met. Police say that it’s OK to fly the swastika in London.
I tell all the younger members of my family to leave the country as soon as they can - we are finished

Hope it works out for you. If I was a lot younger I'd be following you!

It will work out for me and the wife it is what we both want, I am 74 and starting a new venture peace and quite fresh air the Atlantic Ocean, no more listening to Sirens wailing day and night, airplanes roaring overhead or the Police Helicopter circling in the middle of the night , wall to wall traffic, watching our backs on the underground, Mayor Khan and high Council Tax etc

NemoSwastikas pre-date the Nazis in Asia or at least India. I think it is fair game to arrest if it was the red and black swastika yet can see no picture.

I didn't think it was.

It could be seen as a public order offence.

Yes it could be but then again it might not.
I don't believe there is any legislation which specifically prohibits the public display of Nazi symbology in the UK. Unlike Germany and Austria, say, where it is illegal. France too.

I can understand the reluctance to use the Union Flag in political literature. It was monopolised by Far Right groups for years as they marched around the streets demonstrating against and frequently attacking people they classed as non-British.
And all the while the moderate bulk of the country did nothing to stop their flag from being hijacked by troublesome groups — indeed, many Jewish and immigrants still regard non-official display of the flag with apprehension.
It will take more than Morrisons, Sainsburys and Tesco plastering British bacon, butter and cheese with Union Jack decoration to remove the suspicion many people have…

Unless mainstream parties take back our flag away from extremists of course it will become more and more extreme to show our own fucking flag.
Take it back.
And tell extremist bastards to fuck off.

It wasn’t “ monopolised “ by anyone . A few National front skinheads couldn’t monopolise a national flag but a few lefties can claim they did ….it seems.

Same with the English flag.
I doubt the reason is that there's widespread support for extremist groups, but more that people are either unconcerned, or don't want to confront thugs and racists who might turn violent...
