The comments from Righties who excel in denigration, deviations and insults and fail in terms of intelligent debate, puts them bottom of an intelligent individual's shit lists. Righties apparently just cannot help themselves, its the price they pay for being less than a full shilling. Ooops don't forget 'racists' and 'liars', you can't go a post without using those words. Membership numbers means nothing
The Labour Party under Tony Blair had a reduced membership from 5 or 10 years earlier, yet Blair won the 1997 general election with the largest Labour majority in history.
The Labour Party membership rose sharply after Corbyn became leader, it became the largest political party in Western europe by membership, but under Corbyn the Labour Party suffered its worst defeat since before the Second World War.
Its polling numbers that matter, and results, not party membership numbers.

When people lie about me, yes, I will call them liars. No one lies about you, they just point out your inaccuracies, that does not give you the right to call them 'liars', when you can't handle people pointing out when you are wrong you resort to calling them liars, it's very dishonest and deceitful of you. |

William Wilberforce - was a progressive
Martin Luthar King - was a progressive
John F Kennedy - was a progressive
Whereas Enoch Powell was a backwards type, a backwards Conservative who believed that the colour of a mans skin made him inferior, or not fit to be a British person, because British people ( according to Powell ) can only be white.

There was never any reference at any point to superiority or inferiority what he did accentuate was difference (diversity if you like that seems to be all the rage) and that those differences were creating problems within society. He was asked directly by Frost if he was a racialist and pondered the question and defined clearly what he meant if he said no and if he said yes. Noting the difference was part of the Yes point and he suggested everyone was in that effect a racialist and seeking diversity certainly indicates that the left and/or 'progressives' notice the difference. Conservative is of course upholding traditional values the big question is of course should traditional values be upheld? As regards his no point he said he would set his heart like flint to ensure people were not treated differently by law and by the state. |

For the record, Powell was an incredibly intelligent man with an ability to understand the issues that far surpasses yours.

Anyone, who believes that a black person is somehow inferior, and cannot be British, is not intelligent, they are a long way from been intelligent. Powell objected to black people, not because they spoke a different language ( 99.5% spoke English ), and not because they were of a different culture ( almost all were brought up with an Anglo-Caribbean culture ), Powell did not object to black people because they were of a different faith ( almost all were Christians ), no, it was simply because they were a different colour. They say when Corbyn was in charge it caused a huge grass roots support with record numbers joining the party. It is difficult wading through posts that seems to be composed almost entirely around the words Lefty and Woke and based on GB News and/or Daily Mail stories.
But on Labour members quitting, I can't say I've noticed as much dissatisfaction with Starmer and his crew as I have with the everyday grumbling about prices, health care, and crumbling roads and blaming of the current fractured Conservatives. And all this despite the No.10 smear machine being cranked up...

There is absolutely no evidence what so ever that "Corbynites are lying dormant waiting to take over", but plenty of evidence to the contrary.
You are living in an alternative world of fantasy
The Parliamentary Labour Party is overwhelmingly moderate / centre Left, there is virtually no chance of a far Left take over - The NEC is also now controlled by the centre and moderate Left.
For there to be a leadership election, it would require an MP to gain the support of 20% of Labour MPs, such a feat will be impossible in order to install a leader of the far Left for the purpose of shifting the party further Left.
The Parliamentary candidates for the 2024 general election are overwhelmingly Starmer supporters
In the last days of Jeremy Corbyn the membership of the Labour Party was over 530,000
Today party membership is 366,000 - a reduction of 164,000 members, mostly Corbynites.
