There’s no doubt Vennells will be doing a large amount of the can carrying, but it should be remembered she was only PO CEO from 2012 to 2019. We’re now in 2024, and the whole cover-up started way back with the faulty Horizon system began playing up in 1999.
There are more people guilty of cover-up and providing false evidence. All of them should be prosecuted but, as with the Windrush scandal, it will all be dragged out for so long that many won’t get recompense, and many of the real villains will probably retire on full pensions…

All of them should be prosecuted but, as with the Windrush scandal, it will all be dragged out for so long that many won’t get recompense, and many of the real villains will probably retire on full pensions… I personally think she was a useful idiot carrying out orders from above, but as it stands she is 100% bang to rights so the police must arrest her and charge her. Once they have her down the cells and have a case running the judge can be asked to order the release of all sorts of information which we hope will get the others. They just need a dead cert prosecutable case to get started with. They can add new ones to the case as the evidence is there. |

We have a new recording today which proves Vennells was told about everything the moment her head brief knew about it, including all the dodgy stuff. That bitch is going to get fried.
But but she was a cofe preacher surely not the type of person who’d do something like that. At the start of this I (and others on here) said she should not be made an example of for what happened to the postmasters,this has changed all that she needs to be prosecuted and if found guilty given as much jail time at least as the postmasters got. Still get the feeling they’ll try to whitewash this. |

One is she lied to the select committee, and the other is her corporate responsibilities, as per she was allowing the corporation to break the law so at the very least you have her on criminal negligence, and then that lawyer sounded like she was plotting to pervert the course of justice, although that's not quite as strong since she could respond that she was just brainstorming the idea, although I do believe even that draws her into criminal conspiracy. You don't need to do very much at all to be guilty of conspiracy, as per discussing an illegal plan is enough. No need to actually carry the plan out. and of course she could lose her licence to practice as well. If none of this happens then the public will see it as another government stitch up. |
