We are now reliving the very same sunny days for Labour which shone upon the Labour Party back between 1995 and the general election of 1997, when Labour achieved its greatest ever victory in history. For those Conservative supporters who are going to say ... "yes but there are two years to go, and anything could happen" ... well, I dont think you are correct, because we are now at that point in the cycle where voters are now tired and weary of the Conservatives, and there s an underlying feeling that its time to let someone else run the country. At the time of the 1997 election, Labour were 20 points ahead, one year before the 1997 election, Labour were 25 points ahead, and two years before the 1997 election, Labour were 30 points ahead. Under Keir Starmer the Labour Party has now been ahead in the polls for over 300 days, and for the whole of 2022. This morning an article in The Times states this ---> "Floating voters are now overwhelmingly prepared to give Sir Keir Starmer the benefit of the doubt and would prefer him to Liz Truss as prime minister, a focus group for Times Radio suggests" "All but one of the panel members said they would rather the Labour leader became prime minister at the next election as they accused the government of being incompetent and uncaring" Pay Wall - www.thetimes.co.uk/article/floating-voters-ready-to-take-a-chance-on-keir-starmer-n0xpv33ls?fbclid=IwAR3bs6TZXfCmtpxxZ0Ezy949XPMB9rr7aBU0L4E4WXx99s8dsrK9v-JJohc

They used to say of the previous Labour leader "Anyone but Corbyn." Now it's the Tories turn to chant "Anyone but Truss."

We've never had such terrible leaders across nearly all the parties - even the LDs have someone who is truly awful. This govt don't really care because they're "Deliver, Deliver, Deliver"-ing for the hedge funds instead. Don't be surprised if some people end up very rich, when this joke govt falls apart.

Yet another good reason not to vote labour..... Starmer can't even define a woman. Strage as it may seem as he is married to one and concieved by onether.... Trans comedian Eddie Izzard launches campaign to become the Labour MP for Sheffield Central and says she plans to take ‘the fight to the Tories’ Izzard made announcement after MP Paul Bloomfield said he was stepping down If chosen, Izzard would become first openly trans person elected to parliament The comedian has a history with the city - studying at the University of Sheffield www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11303955/Trans-comedian-Eddie-Izzard-launches-campaign-Labour-MP-Sheffield-Central.html#comments

They must be really woke etc but no mention about that, best sweep it all under the rug.
As MPs go, does it get worse than Michael Fabricant and his wig? Mind you, even as bad as Diane Abbott is in Labour, even she knows Ireland isn't in the United Kingdom. <shrugs>

It can get a lot worse...I suppose he is yet another commie who will end up with a high paid job in some union where he doesn't have to do jack to earn his wage. Angela Rayner's rail strike-backing Corbynista MP boyfriend Sam Tarry blasts 'political circus' and accuses Labour Party of foul play as he is deselected Former Labour shadow minister Sam Tarry de-selected in his constituency Jas Athwal, Leader of Redbridge London Borough Council, will now stand for MP Mr Tarry was sacked from Labour's front bench after RMT picket line interview The former shadow minister is boyfriend of Labour deputy leader Angela Rayner www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11301009/Sam-Tarry-selected-Labour-candidate.html
