Sure, but enough of this ''great leveller'' shit. There are men and women all over the country with cancer who aren't getting the best healthcare available and who aren't being deified. It's like that ''the people's Princess'' bollocks all over again. The Princess of Wales acknowledged in her address to the nation that 'others also suffered from cancer', she wasn't looking for sympathy or making it was all about her, the fact she had to address the nation because dirty filthy nasty malicious evil scum bags forced her to stop all vile nasty trolls. I guess we should just wish her a speedy recovery being part of the unattainable for the vast majority is neither here nor there. It seems that some unsavoury individuals do not see it that way and only want to use a 42 year old mother fight for life as a means to beat up on the privileged.... Yet some others have no sympathy for women and children fleeing persecution or war torn failed states. |

No I’m no royalist either.
I don’t think people do though judging by the level of criticism prior to this announcement,of course they have privileges but they don’t stand for election either on the stance of privilege or imposing a poor state education and glorifying that whilst sending their own kids to private schools.

The announcement was made very soon after the investigation into staff accessing her files without authority. Perhaps her hand was forced by these criminals working in the NHS, out to make 5 minutes fame for themselves. Not sure about that afaik it is a private hospital. |

Perhaps a little honesty a bit earlier could have prevented all the social media speculation. The palace released a statement in January saying the Princess did NOT have cancer yet the abdominal operation where her cancer was found was in December. Sure they are perfectly within their rights to keep her condition private but don't tell bold faced lies then complain about speculation. |
