Here is your big chance, we both take the IQ test and we see who comes out with which IQ, then you would know an apostrophe is neither here nor there, but really you are just attacking me, because I have proved the point I started out with. The only correct possessive form is “else’s.” “Else” is part of a singular compound noun, regardless of the word before it. That means “someone else’s hobby,” “anyone else’s friend,” and “everyone else’s wish” are all correct. “Else’s” is the only correct form. “Elses” is incorrect.
Tell Gordon Brown about it, you are obviously backing a complete idiot.

From The Guardian - "I am explaining to you that if you go around the world, you will see that every country is affected," he said.
The reason such comments provoke scepticism is because Brown's mantra during his 10 years at the Treasury was that his prudence as chancellor of the exchequer would ensure there would never be a return to "boom and bust" economics."

www.theguardian.com/politics/2008/sep/11/gordonbrown.economyWhat was Brown's reason for saying he ended boom and bust economics? if you do not know the answer then you do not know what you are posting about.

What was Brown's reason for saying he ended boom and bust economics? if you do not know the answer then you do not know what you are posting about. I don't think so. It's enough to note he was emphatic, completely wrong and told he was wrong at the time. I should imagine his belief came from his inherent narcissism allied with some crackpot Keynesian nonsense, or perhaps he had no education in economics at all.

It's nice to see your imaginary world exposed for all to see. You are 100% wrong about Brown. You have done what you always do and that is to form your own opinions and post them as though they were facts.

Like I said, I don't have to guess Brown's cover story to note he was wrong The other possibility is just plain dishonesty

Starmer can more or less say lots of things, he's just playing to the crowd right now.
If in the unlikely event he does form the next government all the stuff he is saying now will be a distant memory.

Brown was no great shakes, in fact he was hopeless. Another over opinionated poster, proving they know little to nothing about Brown. A few things he did. One was to raid pension pots almost immediately Labour assumed power in 1997, thereby depriving pensioners of a large part of their pension. Second one was to announce the sale of gold that brought the price down instead of just letting it on to the market tranche by tranche. Thirdly his refusal to hold a general election at a time he would have likely won.....and you can add to that his naivete in letting Blair hand him the reins at a time when Blair, and probably Brown himself, knew the sub-prime fiasco was imminent....no doubt he thought his forecast of "No more bust" would still work.

Sure if you say so, just one thing after listening to you who in their right mind would vote new Labour, you have to be working against them.

You can't note he was wrong when you do not even understand what he was referring to in his ending Boom and Bust comment. I took a wild stab in the dark and guessed he was talking about boom and bust. This lines up with a lot of other people's guesses, hence the Guardian article.

This all happened under a Labour watch (not blaming them directly for the 2008 financial crash), but you do have to blame the captain of a ship who's job is to weather the storm to bring his ship home safely.
Labour failed miserably, and we are still paying the price for it now, we had Boom & Bust and still haven't got back to the boom, they mismanaged a global crisis, and we are still in the fallout.
