My partner was born in Oldbury and lived in Smethwick all of her life before coming to Ely. As a side note, i missed Brum, she did not, she loves it here, which is interesting, so do i. Anyway she and her daughter went back to Smethwick last week, and they both reported such, that they thought that they had walked into an asian city. Old and familiar landmarks were replaced by mosques, sweet shops, etc, old friends, neighbours, relatives have been cast to the winds, there were no older white people there, there were no white people where my partner used to live.
They hadnt been back since 2017 or so.
You can apply that to all inner Birmingham.
Anyway, remember when the unions etc were up in arms about the coal industry being destroyed? that communities were destroyed.
There you have it, ancient black country communities have been erased, and its way of life, its culture, its skills, food, familiy.
Just saying like, my partner is mourning its passing. Our politicians are commiting cultural genocide.

But if the casual observer visited many areas of inner city Birmingham they would immediately see that they are not very diverse or multicultural at all. I read an interesting article earlier that outlined the targets in the United Kingdom that will be lined up for nuclear annihilation by Mr Putin if he gets out of bed on the wrong side.
London, Birmingham, Manchester ( and surrounding towns) will all be reduced to molten glass and the inhabitants vapourised. There may well be divided opinions about the desirability of that.

In 2011 whilst on holiday up in West Yorkshire I came across a large country campsite that was occupied entirely by white locals. The fact the I wasn't local was noted ... but I was made welcome when I told them that my "hometown" in London, where I was brought up, was now almost entirely Asian. I was even encouraged to settle up there and given advice about where I could find a place to live. The West Yorkshire people are genetically different from those of the rest of Yorkshire ... being descendants of the tribe that lived there during Roman times ... the Brigantes. Many of the women are strikingly like Roman depictions of them. I noted their features in a significant percentage of the women in the local towns and villages.
The tribe in East Yorkshire in Roman times were the Parisii.
I'm a Trinovante from Essex/Suffolk. My ancestors are local to villages on a small tributary of the River Stour .. the River Box. Nowadays it's only 6 foot wide ... but its floodplain used to be much wider.

The religious make up of Milkstone and Deeplish is 67.1% Muslim, 19.5% Christian, 7.0% No religion, 0.3% Hindu, 0.1% Buddhist, 0.1% Sikh, 0.1% Jewish
