Would anyone consider this assisted death issue as a positive for Labour and affect their voting decision? It would help sway my decision, it would not be the primary deciding factor though. All The Best

If we allow assisted dying, the change of boundaries will mean the justification of assisted murder, eventually, but it will be ok by law, totally unnaceptable. Ive seen hospitals for the severly mentally handicapped in the 70s, children, adults being kept alive by the medical profession. Some could not eat or drink without assistance, constant epileptic fits, physically handicapped, suffering from syndromes it would taker an hour to look up and find.....this is just a surface description.
If you could ask them, im sure all would want to live.

The person who wants to end their life has to be medically mentally capable of making that decision themselves , no other person can make that decision for them, the ones you state in your post would not be able to make that decision, therefore cannot ask for it.
That is why they may spend years in hospital or care homes, as and when they do eventually reach the end of their lives relatives if they have any will be asked by the Doctor should we resuscitate them or not if they get that bad, and that decision has to be made by their family

Considering what happened to Diane Pretty, Tony Nicklinson and others, I agree with it under certain circumstances.

Labour wanting to kill off pensioners - now why would that be I wonder... Except they don't. They want to give people the right to choose. All The Best And possibly swayed by the options available ( or not available).

If the government nationalises euthanasia, we will all be dead of old age before we manage to sort out the paperwork

Would anyone consider this assisted death issue as a positive for Labour and affect their voting decision? The NHS already assists death. You really don't want to encourage them further.

Only by mistake or incompetence — usually. I am instinctively against the idea of legalising assisted suicide. But I can understand the doctor who, while intent on only increasing the amount of medication to keep terminally ill patients comfortable, knows the prescribed amounts will eventually overpower the patient’s ability to live…

There are enough suspects now to create a scandal in the medical world.

A young woman who has depression, autism, and borderline personality disorder will end her life with euthanasia. Zoraya ter Beek, 28, lives in a small village in the Netherlands close to the German border and will take her own life with euthanasia in May. She once dreamt of becoming a psychiatrist but could never muster finishing college. Despite living with her 40-year-old boyfriend in a house with their two cats, she says she is now tired of living. A psychiatrist told her ‘there’s nothing more we can do for you. It’s never gonna get any better apple.news/ANbBO7P4cRwy7zIsOf0QOuQ
