As noted previously, February 1779 was actually warmer than last month in Central England. It is also worth noting that there is no identifiable trend or pattern in the distribution of warm Februarys: notalotofpeopleknowthat.wordpress.com/2024/03/04/february-1779-exceptionally-warm/Of course this February of 1779 was well into the Little Ice Age and could not be affected by the Dark Satanic Man Made CO2 producers.

Yes .I heard a weather person say something like “ The warmest February on record which means it’s the warmest ever February “. It’s startling just how these people can blatantly lie.

This is worth noting from the weather records:
“While some care is needed in interpretation of the records, what this shows is that the current flooding is not quite as rare as some have claimed. Over the past few hundred years large floods occurred on the Thames in 1774, 1852, 1894 and 1947. The British Evening Post of London recorded on March 15 1774:
At Kingston, the water having reached up to the town hall, and spread over far the greater part of the town; the people could not keep the market there on Saturday last … At Teddington, the water rose in the church to a considerable height. And at Twickenham, the flood on Saturday evening was full one feet higher than it was 115 Years ago; though at that time it was higher than was ever known before … At Isleworth, the water was so high, that they could not get to the church without boats, so that this flood in the River Thames, was, in all probability, the greatest that ever was in this river. Major floods struck the Somerset levels in 1811, 1876, 1894 and 1929, and the Severn in 1672, 1770, 1795, 1852, 1869 and 1947. The floods across southern England in 1947 were the 20th century’s worst, in extent and cost of damages.”

Note this picture of flooding on the River Severn at Ironbridge in 2022. Check out the level on the arch window of the Gorge Museum building in the distance. Now look at the following picture looking through that arched window taken 3rd Feb 2024 Look at the levels marked for flooding in 1795 … and Nov 2000. This proves the point that flooding in this area was much much worse over 200 years ago … before the Industrial Revolution had really kicked in … and coal, gas and oil reserves were being exploited to any degree worth noting … Middle East and North Sea oil hadn’t been discovered and exploited … and the motor car was 100 years away from being invented. So will the members of Extinction Rebellion take note? …. and recognise extreme weather has so many other factors that generate it? … Greta Thunderface can scowl at Trump … but at the end of the day … the Green Agenda is sliding into a swamp of lies and misinformation … dodgy scientists whoring themselves to Globalists trying to rip off the tax-payers of every nation on the Planet … …. while history is repeating.
