Black Lives Matter protester grooming gang who passed schoolgirl, 13, around 'like a toy' in horrific rape and abuse ordeal lasting nine months are jailed for 36 yearsA grooming gang who took part in a Black Lives Matter protest while on bail used a schoolgirl 'as a toy' in a horrific rape and abuse ordeal lasting nine months. Brothers Mohamed and Omar Badreddin met the 13-year-old in Newcastle City Centre and identified her as someone who could be easily manipulated. They groomed her with alcohol and cigarettes before they began to abuse the young girl - and threatened to 'kill her and take her out of the country'. The brothers first took the then-13-year-old to Castle Keep in Newcastle, and she had been groomed and plied with so much alcohol she vomited and couldn't walk properly. Mohamed Badreddin sexually assaulted and raped her then left her for Omar Badreddin to rape her as another man, Hamoud Al-Soaimi, laughed. She was also attacked behind a Five Guys restaurant and at her home - link These fetid pieces of foreign scum should not have been in this country. I hope the government, lefty lawyers and left wing NGO's are proud of themselves.

From that article:
How come that last one got away with a suspended sentence when the others got an average of 12 years?

There's an item about this on GB News right now. As these fetid pieces of 'refugee' scum were raping this 13 year old girl, they forced her to quote passages from the Koran and beat her if she got it wrong.

One of this gang got a very sympathetic report off the the BBC when he was first charged with raping a child but the jury let him off - wonder if the BBC will be doing an update?..

I was listening to the Radio earlier, apparently there are over 3,000 Rape Trials waiting to go to Court in the UK at this moment in time due to the backlog in the Crown Court system, cause by Covid Barristers Strike and the sheer volume of other cases.
That IMHO means alleged victims are in limbo , and so are alleged suspects, the Courts are trying to fast track them, but that also means other serious Cases will also be delayed, IMO we need more Courts to deal with this backlog perhaps they should sit 6 days a week instead of 5

Well, they have done a "local" report on their website: www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-68446855But I doubt they will be going to the prison to get a sob story. They have got 18 years to pop up and see him.

Auntie's tucking into an extra-large helping of humble pie.
"In 2015 and 2016, Newsnight followed the story of the Badreddin family, who were Syrian refugees who had settled in the UK. During the year, their son Omar was tried for sexual assault and found not guilty. Two years afterwards, in 2018 and 2019, Omar Badreddin and his brother Mohamed committed multiple counts of rape. They were found guilty and were jailed on 1 March 2024. The BBC reported this. In any situation, the BBC can only report on the facts as they stand at the time, which is what we did in this case. The Badreddins' subsequent crimes are appalling, and we express our sincere sympathies to their victim."
Always wise to take the BBC's sympathetic stories about refugees and asylum seekers with a large pinch of salt.

I disagree the Judge addresses the Jury before they go out to consider their verdict after hearing all the evidence they must be certain beyond all and any shadow of doubt that the defendant is guilty, if not they must return a verdict of not guilty.
