So along with the foreign aid we spend, we're basically just funding every other country except our own.....
Hotels and asylum support bill hits £5.4 billion as thousands of small boats keep coming.....
The taxpayer will shell out £5.4 billion on migrant hotels and other asylum support this year – a staggering £15 million a day.
Rocketing costs have forced the Home Office to secure an extra £4 billion from the Treasury to cover a massive overspend on asylum accommodation.

I wonder if they could be put to work repairing potholes in the road?
Or perhaps picking up rubbish which has been carelessly dropped or fly tipped?
Or collecting asbestos dumped at the sides of the roads.
They could make such a difference helping to improve the country.

What happens now is the taxpayer pays for their accomodation and food while they work in the black economy for cash in hand. No wonder tens of thousands flock here.. |

No reason why they can’t help by assisting with things like non-skilled service jobs. Be that tidying parks or fixing pot holes, it shouldn’t be difficult for people to work for a roof and food while they get their shit processed.
When people sit around all day with nothing to do, of course they get bored and many will turn to less honest forms of earning money since legally they can’t get a job.
There would also be a whole lot less resentment if such people were contributing to society.
