Sunak rejects bid by Labour's Harriet Harman to allow MPs to WFH to stop them feeling 'under pressure' from protesters at Parliament....
Downing Street today rejected a call by Labour's Harriet Harman for MPs to go back to Covid-style online voting amid growing fears for politicians' safety.
The ex-Cabinet minister suggested a return of WFH practices in the House of Commons as she revealed MPs have had their votes influenced by threats.
Senior Tories have reacted with fury after Labour 's Harriet Harman suggested MPs could return to Covid-style online voting amid growing fears for politicians' safety
Ms Harman, known as the 'Mother of the Commons' for being the longest-serving female MP, proposed the changes for those feeling 'vulnerable' or 'under pressure'.

Which raises the question once again . Who are the ones threatening MPs to the point where they can’t leave their houses ?

Can she just hang on till November, then she'll be out of work, as she's not standing again. Working from home generally means less efficiency. How this can be the case with MPs is difficult to imagine.

How dare they . We elect these people to represent us in Parliament and stand up for our rights . If they don't feel up to the job they should resign and let someone who does take up the job

Glad he's rejected this.
Labour long ago decided multiculturalism is a core tenant of their political values. They long ago sought the vote of immigrant stock.
Now they want to cower democracy in Britain because they cannot appease certain political factions of their own making. They can live with that choice as it comes back to bite them on the arse.

I’m sure you made a point of scolding everyone who made fun of Trump and Boris’s appearance.

Bloody hell have you seen the kisser on her who is sitting behind Harman, she's got a face like a slapped arse. I think that’s an expression that says … I don’t like my job anymore. I’ve given up representing The People … I only knee jerk to what NGO’s and The Whip dictate now. I understand the hate of a Public that noticed I never bothered attending a couple of v.important debates on vaccine-harm … showing I and my Party didn’t give a sh*t about health concerns that could be affecting millions of people. I understand the hate of a Public who recognise we were negligent securing UK borders for 50 years … as bad in Government as we were in Opposition … sanctioning the UK to being poodles of U.S./Israeli/EU and WEF/NGO interests … before service to our own fractured Communities. I want to be in the Commons bar right now … mine’s a pint of vodka/tonic.
