Clearly away with the fairies . Hall was never going to be a big enough personality to get people out to vote against Khan .Nobody had even heard of her before her nomination so yo have to assume the Conservatives don't want the responsibility of the Mayors office . Agree. Not only was she low profile, but she came across as both incompetent and a nasty person. I think that Paul Scully was right, that the nomination process failed.

Why would anyone think a white women would have a chance against race-baiting everything is Islamophobia Khan? I don’t think anyone thinks she lost because she is white. The previous mayor of London was both white and Tory. However with the current appeal of the party, you have to have a personal appeal which goes beyond that of the current party. She came across as incompetent and nasty, so it's not really a surprise she failed.

What you think doesn't tally with the reality of London today, where statues are thrown into rivers and people march for Hamas. The last Mayor was three terms ago. No white Tory chick stands a chance today for the role. They're too privileged and would symbolise institutional racism. That's just how it is now.

Sky News contacted 44 councils in England, Wales and Scotland who share 84 controversial statues between them.
A quarter of contentious statues have been removed, will be removed or are under review since the Edward Colston monument was toppled.
There were [in June 2021] 18 statues across the three nations under review. Most are in Scotland's biggest cities, Glasgow and Edinburgh...

London's violent crime is steadily increasing, but at least its heritage is being destroyed.

London's violent crime is steadily increasing, but at least its heritage is being destroyed. Yep — what’s happened to the likes of the Krays, the Richardsons, The Yiddishers, Hoxton Mob, Watney Streeters, Aldgate Mob, Whitechapel Mob, Bethnal Green Mob and the organised Italian Mob headed by Charles Sabini? That’s London’s real crime heritage…

Comparing the ongoing growth of third world criminals who rape and stab people, often for no reason, is hardly comparable to a few organised crime mobs which exist in every country.
