Of course, as well as the GE, we are also due a London Mayoral election this year too. First poll this year shows a comfortable lead for Sadiq Khan over Tory's Susan Hall...

The Conservatives haven't taken the London job seriously since Johnson moved on . They needed to put forward a name and they put up Sue Hall a councillor .Im sure she is a decent person but hardly the heavy hitter needed to run our capital city . She will get the vote from outer London for nothing but ULEZ which is generally hated but apart from that the socialist and immigrants will stick with Khan .
Why? feck knows

I think you're right on Susan Hall.
Although she often comes across as not having a full brief. I remember one interview she did, I think it was on LBC, where she had a rant about Hammersmith Bridge, then it transpired she didn't actually know who owned or was responsible for it. I don't think she's an inspiration for anyone.

I can't see the office of Mayor of London ever being held by a white British man in the future, irrespective of party. It simply doesn't fit the demographic paradigm and is even less likely to do so in the future.

Perhaps time to dust off the plans for a 'Two State Solution'.

Feel free to use any poll to update this thread, or to contribute something worthwhile. I saw a split of this poll this morning that there is a difference between inner and outer London, with Khan being more popular in inner London than outer London. My guess is that is the ULEZ expansion effect.

It'll be interesting. I've a feeling that a lot of people who didn't bother before will turn out now that Khan's actions are starting to affect them.
More fool them if they don't.

I agree with you In 2021 Saddo won by 55% to 45% from a turnout of less than 42% of the electorate The guy leaving the stage wanted car free Sundays, more AI and a four day week (presumably allowing those who fled the city on Saturday to return Monday... He declared his departure from the contest 'a decision to ensure the progressive vote is not split' but stopped shortly of actually endorsing Saddo which would have been a bit of a shot in the foot given his criticism of the 'status quo' when entering As you say, I suspect a large number of voters who could not be arsed last time might get up and declare their annoyance We shall see

Who the fuck has made travelling from A to B in londonistan more expensive? The daily crimes which are commited in Londonistan every day are hardly ever reported by our woke lefty wing press...
Sadiq Khan warns rising cost of living is fuelling crime in London

Soa photo ID for voting is an affront to democracy - but a photo ID to watch a firework disply is absolutely necessary... ..what a buffoon..
