How many Muslims do you think are Islamists? I see no relevance in your question and believe this is mere deflection. I am going on the reality of the situation. Where are the Muslims standing up for Lee and his right to comment on his seemingly genuine concern about Islamists controlling Sadiq Khan? After all, if politicians are scared, isn't it possible that Khan may well be fearful of his life if it doesn't conform to some collectivist demand?
Actually it's very relevant. You are trying to make all Muslims responsible for the crimes of a few. I am a Roman Catholic, but I feel no need atone for the crimes of my fellow religionists. I don't agree with them, but I'm not responsible for them either. I probably don't know any, so why would you ask me to? That's how mainstream Muslims mostly are. |

I asked why Lee is being persecuted and smeared with Islamophobia and racism over his comment regarding "Islamists" and asked why there is no defence (words to that effect). You stated that Islamists and Muslims are not the same, and while this maybe true, you now appear to be relying on the very methods of unifying the two when convenient. |

Just few years ago many Christian hated homosexual and many clergymen were found to be sexual predators , nuns were known to be cruel etc etc . Some of the worst and most widespread cases of child sexual abuse has been committed by The Catholic Church, but I know full well that the vast majority of Catholics are not child abusers.
What posters are doing here repeatedly, is stereotyping Muslims, and not only is it wrong, but it also makes those posters look really very stupid, and not very intelligent.
What frightens me in the current climate, is that some hot head Muslim somewhere who is utterly fed up and bitter at been constantly labelled, will retaliate. Or that some Muslim person with a personality defect, or mental health issue will lash out.
There are two sides of the coin, people like Lee Anderson are one side, and then theres the reactionary side, the opposite side, this is going to lead to trouble.
