Will she or won't she?
Shamima Begum to discover outcome of appeal against citizenship removal.........
Shamima Begum is set to discover whether she has won a Court of Appeal challenge over the removal of her British citizenship.
Ms Begum travelled to Syria in 2015 aged 15 and her citizenship was revoked on national security grounds shortly after she was found in a Syrian refugee camp in February 2019.....

My guess is that the Court of Appeals will cave in and the government will take the case to the Supreme Court. If not, then Begum loses and will appeal to the Supreme Court, or rather her lawyers will. Who are they anyway and who is paying them?
A little light digging indicates her lead lawyers are Samantha Knights and Dan Squires, both KCs and both members of Matrix Chambers.

The court of appeal has just dismissed Shamima Begums appeal against having her British citizenship revoked. The first thing her publicly funded legal team said is, this is not the end. An appeal to the Supreme Court is next, followed by an appeal to the ECHR. This is costing UK tax payers hundreds of thousands of pounds and will continue for years. We must be mad, litterally mad. link Edit: I said this will cost UK tax payers hundreds of thousands, that was something of an underestimate. Try £5 million, and she's not even a British citizen - link

It time the bitch was introduced to the SAS mate There's a much simpler solution - stop lefty lawyers spending £millions in appeal after appeal after appeal.

Probably worthy of a thread, but how many layers of judicial decision makers do we actually need? Surely one decision and one appeal would be good, then in exceptional cases a third top court. Foreign courts should never be involved.
