Ah, how the complements fly when the quality meets
Anyway, back to the climate change business.
A lot of the heavy lifting for climate research is done at the Center for Climate Research at the University of Madison, Wisconsin by Prof Zhengyu Liu.
The good prof once used two peer tested models. One proved that nuclear winter would cause our balls to freeze off and the other contained proof that the oceans would boil. Prof Zhengyu thought this hilarious and published both reports on the uni's website. Sadly, climate change is not a fun discipline and the reports were quietly removed
Over the years we have gone from one extreme to another with climate forecasts, none of them particularly accurate - back in the day it was another Ice Age, now we are apparently 'boiling' ...

Classic confusion of climate with weather. I can't say that I have ever noticed the difference, but I am someone here will be only too happy to explain Climate is what you expect to get weather-wise in broad terms over the course of a year or a few years, weather is what you actually get day to day or even hour to hour. As examples your average rainfall may be climate wise 30 inches over the course of a year weather wise it could be cats and dogs on any specific day; climate wise your temperature may be on average 18 in summer and 5 in winter weather wise it could be 6 to 40 in summer and -15 to + 15 in winter
