Yes but you would be flipping burgers 7-days a week just to feed and put a roof over your head. I saw a little investigation into how it is for the ex-pat Brits down there. The trouble is there are more sellers than buyers. Too many had the same idea. Spain is hollow in the middle of it. Now one lives there except for Madrid. It's pretty poor as well and socialist. The UK is pretty poor and socialist - and has crap weather.. I've been to Fuengirola and I can assure you the food is crap, every pub has TV screens with English football blaring out and the Brit ex-pat women are fat and ugly. I actually quite like where I live in fact. In my town there is lots of ancient medieval architecture and as one strolls though it one get a feeling of sanctimony.

Canada is woke central these days. It’s a big place . It gets bloody cold in the winter up north. My old Canadian woman was from Prince Edward Island. You had to drive hundreds of miles to get anywhere. Toronto was apparently cool to live in back in the 90s, but it's gone a bit like London - stupid money to live there and few natives. Canada's like a British colony. it too has gone mental. I think you would be better off in New Zealand. I get better reports at least than Canada.

I know a ton of people that have left and then come back. Canada is too big and cold, New Zealand is boring, and Australia puts Aussies first so it can be hard to get a decent job... plus it takes 2 days to get there and costs a fortune so its tough on families.

Nowadays it's much harder to be allowed to live in Australia or NZ than decades ago when they had a real shortage of skilled workers.

What some people regard as boring others may regard as peace and quiet. NZ and Ireland are roughly the same size in terms of population. If you wouldn't like to live in Ireland I doubt you'd like to live in NZ either and vice versa too.

You don't have to go the other side of the world to find somewhere civilised to live, cultured, interesting and with a decent climate. There's France, Italy, Spain, Portugal or Greece, for example. If climate's not an issue, there's always Scandinavia, Holland, Belgium, Germany or Austria.
Oh but wait...

I had the opportunity to emigrate to Aus in my twenties, but it's boring as hell and practically everything is illegal.

...and go where? Many of the problems we are having are not unique, they are global problems. Exactly. And my friends are in this country.

The problem with the three most popular destinations for Brits is that they are probably much more Liberal and tolerant than we are, most certainly Canada and New Zealand, and probably Australia too these days.
There's a completely different attitude in Canada and New Zealand towards immigrants and refugees, the default opinion is that they are equal citizens, or that they need help. Where as in this country the default opinion seems to be that foreigners want to destroy our culture, or that all refugees are scroungers.
Prime Minister Trudeau was hailed as a hero by MOST Canadians when he took in 25,000 Syrian refugees, most Canadians are proud of their record in helping the dispossesed.
Of course all three Dominions have their indigenous populations, which are not white Anglo Saxons, and again although there is bad history, today these different cultures are celebrated in what are sucessful multi cultural societies ... Canada been the first country in the world to adopt and embrace Mult Culturalism.
Maybe we could learn from such a sucessful society
