Yep that actually happened to some kid who drowned,TBF to the emergency people they risk being sacked if they defy the rules. At the Manchester bombing some firefighters said stuff this to the order to stand by (and do nothing) we’re going in and the bosses said you do and you’ll be dismissed.

It is no surprise that the incompetents and misfits, who now seem to be control many of our institutions and so create such codes of conduct, created an unworkable set of rules. However, it is a surprise that real people obeyed to the guidelines in a real situation in which the right thing to do was so obvious.

Rule one is never add to the casualty list
