There is a lot of Youtube talk about beefing up our military from 120,000 to 800,000 (Hague).
Cameron recently describing Putin as Hitler in Washington.
It seems like the political players are trying to hype up the need for a major conflict to break Russia.
Why well recently Saudi Arabia and UAE joined the BRICs, if this type of move continues the US$ might lose its reserve status and then I would argue the West would have to pay a lot more for raw materials hurting our economies.
In this circumstance Russia with it abundance of materials becomes a key global player.
How far will the West go, will UK and US troops go toe to toe with Russia?

The rest of the world wants what we have . I believe that we will eventually give it to them.

Break Russia? No, just defeat the gangsters who are trying to steal Ukraine, bring them down and then try to work with the next Russian government to stamp out corruption and work with each other in peace.

We do need soldiers on the ground, and its good that Russia have given us advanced warning, years ,in fact, ta mate. The west will never relinquish control, democracy or our form of it is the best we can hope for. If it looks like falling, that Russia, China or both look set to rule, im sure there are plans in place.
And im sure the USA has weapons we havent dreampt of.

Democracy on its own isn't enough - it isn't even really a thing. To function, a democratic society has to have an accepted base of values and values always come down to sacrifice.
Democracy on its own means very little - as you can see in the situation unfolding in the United States. The constitution says you have x rights, but in reality you don't because the mob says you don't, you don't get to elect or sack the mob and nobody has the stomach to do what is necessary to erase the mob.
History will look back at this as another salient lesson on the real sources of social function.

Caught a late chat about the US bill as regards to Ukraine on BBC 1-2am.
Very interesting, US chap I have never heard of before put it nicely.
Biden admin wants $60bn for Ukraine, that is not to defeat Russia that is just to stay in the fight!
What people are saying is how long do we need to keep putting large amounts into Ukraine, note outgoing NATO chief Stoltenburg said it would last decades.
People in US politics are starting to ask is it smarter to get out now rather than just kick it down the lane and keep putting massive amounts in indefinitely.

The US, UK and Russia can never go to war with each other. Nuclear states cannot have wars with each other. This is all just proxy war shit, where you try to bleed the economy of your enemies dry.
