Read the article and find out . It might stop you making a tit of yourself . First paragraph An elderly couple who had just moved into their £200,000 house were horrified to receive a letter from their council suggesting the property could be subject to compulsory purchase and used to house asylum seekers. Then continue to say the Council believed the property to be empty and could force them to sell it . Question how could they force then to sell it? Oh Smart one . I take it you don’t understand the words ‘compulsory’, ‘purchase’ and ‘order’ ? Tell you what pop me your postcode and i’ll have a chat with the thieving corrupt scum in our council who pulled the same stunt round here then dumped the development and i’ll see if they can arrange for their pals to show you up close and in oerson. |

The old couple are real.
The council thought the house was empty.
But it wasn't, the old couple lived in it.
The council sent letter by mistake.
Couple got upset as they didn't realise it was sent in error.
Old couple go to DM show letter, DM prints story.
Then I post a thread about the story on here , but did not copy and paste the Thread title of the DM, it was all my own work.
The letter was sent out in error.

Couple got upset as they didn't realise it was sent in error.
