Wasn't sure when it was that's why I said late 70s early 80s was only born in 63 Must of Stayed with me all that time And why is it a non point you just showed homelessness with the young wasn't new . And you just proven that zthank you It would have taken 30 seconds to google it. Its a non point because we are talking about now , not the sixties, not the Middle Ages, not antiquity. I know you’re not the sharpest tool in the box , so I don’t expect much else tbh. Oh well seeing you return to insults after a decent conversation but couldon't expect anything else from you . Are you a OAP ? And you live in a Village .explains why your a nasty bitter person

Yea can't think of there name but there a Campaign group who say empty properties should be converted to housing accommodation. Including the empty homes left to rot when empty It's been going on For decades . At least Blair did have a house regeration programme what regeneration over 1million homes. This of course is never included when people say Thatcher built more Council housing then Blair Well if Plymouth is anything to go by "regeneration" of council estates in the Blair years involved knocking down entire estates and building a smaller number of better quality ones in their place. Though of course such regeneration reduced the amount of social housing rather than increasing it, even if the quality was better.

Yes it did do that but let's also Include the regenegation of homes already lived in .at the time I worked for a Construction company has a General labourer and they had to dig right down to the foundation because of subsidence And damp . Also in one of my realatoon. Houses they but in New windows and Central heating and I'm talking about the whole estate. Then there the 300.000 Social hoses Housing Associations built that added to the Affordable housing. It was a success. Let's not forget how many Council houses were lost due to the right to buy .

In Rochdale the council have decided to knock 7 blocks of flats down which once had room for 700 residencies because one baby died of mould which is caused by lack of central heating and too many in one room. They paid 7500 to move out, but 200 did not take up the offer so it remains with 500 empty flats, and you guessed it, there are loads of homeless in Rochdale. One guy was made homeless because he stole electricity by "winding the meter back".

Just in Liverpool for the weekend. Shocking the number of homeless here. They are even huddled in their tents in every shop doorway down here in Plymouth City Centre at night. Attacks on asylum seekers have become routine in Plymouth since the beginning of the year, when an Iraqi was beaten up outside a supermarket in the city centre during daylight. More recently a group of 12 people set upon an Iraqi Turkoman in a city centre nightclub; the man is still receiving medical treatment. The city is largely white and still dominated by the military and naval presence in the dockyards. It has never had a big immigrant community and until recently the proportion of blacks and Asians was less than 1 per cent. Last year that figure rose to 4 per cent and tensions have increased.

Paint is about 20 quid a tin, much cheaper than 7500 to boot them out. It's very wasteful.

Hmm, I guess they would call that "effective community policing". Like Rishi, they have immigration targets for their area.
What a cheek going into a club full of Royal Marines with a knife.

Plymouth like most military areas Aldershot have always been violent areas No Wonder with young men with high tresterone tried to kill at a young age. And it attracted criminal activity like prostitution.
