Basically that's what it boils down to, Labour are control freaks, the only ones who are allowed freedom of speech are the lefties, they want everything and any one cancelled that isn't a lefty agenda, they even want to control what speed we can do 20 mph, just like they tried to close bank accounts because of your politics. Can you imagine how enthusiastically a Starmer led Labour government will embrace and force upon us: More immigration from the EU Net zero More trans/gender nonsense Ulez 15 minute cities Low traffic neighbourhoods Diet EV's Heat pumps And of course, every EU diktat will be obediently observed. We all think this so called Tory government are bloody rubbish, but I have this nagging feeling at the back of my mind that 6 months into a Labour government many people who voted Labour as a protest vote will be thinking my god, come back Sunak.

Exactly, the things we want to hear from Labour are how they are going to fund the NHS, how they are going to control our borders, how they are going to deal with out of control lawless London and the UK with knife/gun crime and drug gang turf wars. What do we get from Starmer, he's going to control kids from drinking energy drinks, they can freely carry knives but if they are caught with a energy drink they are under arrest ... FFS.
Labour councils using motorists as their ATMs, filling up the coffers with fines, a mate of mine got a parking fine when he was held up in a line of traffic because of a accident ahead, when he appealed and pointed out his 'running lights' were on, so how could he be parked up when the engine was running, they are just chancing their arm, well anyone who votes Labour will regret it, it will be a case of ....... I told you so

There are plenty of sugar free energy drinks . I suspect itβs the caffeine not the sugar . That is a fair point.

You're obviously a sensible Tory. Under a Labour administration the government will control everything. Labour are out and out fascists. Always have been.

Starmer wants this banned for 16 year olds, and yet they want 16 years old to have the vote. Make up your mind is 16 a child or not?......Who else feels so safe knowing our elites are forever looking out for our health & well being - unless you are starving, freezing homeless & unable to travel freely of course.
Children under 16 could be BANNED from buying energy drinks under Labour government amid growing evidence of health risks...
The proposal has reportedly been submitted for the party's election manifesto, amid concern from medical professionals about the caffeine-fuelled beverages.
For the plan to become official party policy, Sir Keir Starmer's office would need to approve it.
For the proposal to become party policy, Sir Keir Starmer's office would it to approve it The leader of the opposition said that he would stick up for his party against accusations that it was heading towards a 'nanny state'.
Recent studies have shown that children who consume energy are more likely to be overweight and develop heart problems.
under 16 could be BANNED from buying energy drinks and yet they want 16 years old to have to vote Simple question do you know the difference between let's say a sixteen Yr old and a 8yr old. Do you know the difference between A 16yr old having sex then a 15yr old?

I agree with this nanny state legislation what about you Guy's.
BBC Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has described his plan to phase out the sale of cigarettes as the "biggest public health intervention in a generation".
The policy, if it gets the backing of MPs, will see the age at which people can buy tobacco products - currently 18 - increase by a year each year. It would mean today's 14-year-olds would never be able to purchase a cigarette
