Not for the first time i mourn the arrival of daytime tv and in particuar rolling 24 hours "news"
Over on the Imperial Brittannic Propaganda Outfit www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-68247739 there is a non-story which itself deserves a place in this tread under this headine, but reading it on the bog as you do (this is a different keyboard and i have washed my hands since honest) i noted a very interesting point
Piers Morgan says the reason he is dumping his Talk TV Slot and moving exclusively to Youtube is the restriction of the scheduling.
Yeah Right. And King Charles caught his cancer from the radiation his unicorns gave off as they brought hs coach to his coronation
But he does make one interesting remark picked up by that BBC page
He claims "Had he been exclusively broadcasting his Uncensored" show at 8pm on his talk tv slot, Rishi's £1000 Rwanda Bet would never have seen the oxygen of publicity because his slot would have been buried under an avalance of reports of King Charles III having been diagnosed with cancer.
And that's a good point. Would my grandfather, or even my father, working all day and coming home in time to a six pm news summary and a nine/ten pm news broadcast even got to hear of the dubious antics of a prime minister fighting for survival on the day The King was found to have a life threatening illness even at the advanced age he is ?
I think not.
Which begs the question why is an awful lot of this shit "newsworthy" ?
