Apart from my opening paragraph that you replied to... 😂 This is my opening paragraph to this topic..."Where are these so called fucking charities when our own homeless only have a shop doorway whilst this filth thrust up on us by the EUSSR are given 4 star accomodation? Charity starts at home FFS."
So what are the forever offended finding so hard to understand?

They said it represented “a threat to the universality of human rights”. You actually agree with their point here but you don't wish for asylum seekers to be entitled to human rights. P. S. Please can we have thread titles which give an inkling of the subject? Makes the forum more readable. Watch it — mocking the hard of understanding can get you targeted…

One of you, in one post, has managed to almost discuss the subject.
Well done you.

Now let's get back to the plot:
Should HM Govt be funding quasi-political bodies posing as charities?
Should there be more transparency as to what these bodies actually stand for?
Is more scrutiny and greater regulation required?

Well done you. Whereas in your 6 contributions to the thread have yielded just one post addressing the topic, one addressing the title and 4 criticising other contributions which include 2 personal attacks.

So which were the personal attacks, then?

But, to drag the debate back to the subject:
Perhaps organisations with political agendas should lose charitable status. Or perhaps charities that carry out political lobbying should be required to be more transparent about their affiliations. Perhaps governments should not fund quasi-political bodies thinly disguised as charities.
I say that we need more regulation of “Charities”. Any political agenda/affiliations of said “Charities” should be published and that no “Charity” should receive government funding.
Discuss.

Where are these so called fucking charities when our own homeless only have a shop doorway whilst this filth thrust up on us by the EUSSR are given 4 star accomodation? Charity starts at home FFS.
Charities lobbying against Rwanda Bill given £209m of taxpayer money.
Members of the House of Lords expressed their concerns about Rwanda legislation but voted against a Liberal Democrat attempt to kill the Bill entirely
The Government has given £209 million to charities that have lobbied the House of Lords to vote against the Rwanda Bill and have described the policy as “deeply harmful” and setting a “dangerous precedent”.
On Monday, a group of 265 charities, focused largely on helping refugees and migrants, criticised the legislation, designed to stop the small boat Channel crossings. They said it represented “a threat to the universality of human rights”.
I agree with you about the pointlessness and waste of money of the Rwanda deportations. But Crisis, Shelter, Centre Point, St Mungo’s, SHP, Thames Reach, Housing Justice, are just a few of the charities for the homeless in the U.K. Which do you support…?

Like I stated in my opening paragraph "charity starts at home"
