Some I do, some I don't. I don't agree with their methods. Holding the capital hostage like a bunch of anti-vax freedom truckers in not acceptable. It's not something I'd want to see happen here. The financial costs would be huge and it would be nothing less than extortion. it is, however, the way things have been done in france since they guillotined the aristocrats.

I don't think it's ok to obstruct traffic. I don't think it's ok to try destroying farming as a policy either. There are seven million people in France who are dependent on foodbanks. 2.1 million in our country. Get the availability of food up and the price down. Subsidy has long been policy of both the EU and the UK, so, do what is necessary to make living affordable. You are using a figure from over 4 years ago. The current estimates are between 2.4 million and 3.5 million for France. trussell trust estimate at the end of last year there were around 3 million users of food banks in the uk. who is this aimed at? France is the most self sufficient country in Europe regarding feeding its population , with a massive agricultural sector , a population similar in size to England , but England could fit inside France 5 times over. The uk on the other hand , especially England , hasn't been able to feed itself for centuries.

I have every confidence the EU are working on it... Plus Oracle and the cut and paste monkey. For gods sake. It is over after a few days and talks are progressing. At least the French government responds to public opinion, unluke the UK where the government ignores it.

The financial costs would be huge and it would be nothing less than extortion. Every day in the press there is a map of where the blockades are going to be. It is easy enough to work around them. It is for the attention of the press who then know where to report from, thus strengthening the cause. In EU democracies, govts listen to the people.

And for heavens sake, this alarmist nonsense about Paris being starved of food. Planes still fly, trains still run and there are so many roads into Paris that it would take the entire French army to blockade Paris.
Calm down FFS.

I think that people are missing the point here: No farmers, no food. Once the WEF have withdrawn or severely restricted farming land on "Environmental" grounds they will control the food supply. Comply or starve will be their message. And there are many precedents for using starvation as a means of control. And once again the "elites" will need to be removed by force. Interesting times are ahead. And I support the European farmers for stealing a march on the establishment. Surey that cannot be the case; meat free meat arrives by spaceship from the planet waitrose, well at least according to the vegans.
Eating grass will be good for you. Watch the pounds fall off as malnutrition sets in. Or as vegans call it, a healthy bmi
