Home Office to spend £36 million 'a year' on private vessels to patrol the English Channel for migrant crossingsThe Home Office is set to spend £36million a year on private vessels to patrol the English Channel for small boats carrying migrants. As Chancellor in 2021, Sunak unveiled plans to replace Border Force vessels with new cutters to improve the safety of Britain's borders, Ha. He said the new vessels would help tackle illegal migration - link - This is a calculated and blatant lie. The new vessels will not tackle illegal migration, quite the reverse. Their only purpose is to help cross channel illegals get from the EU to an English beach. And Tories wonder why support for Reform UK is surging.

Hey Red, have you ever manage a football tackle in the middle of the sea?

Our police are too busy to deal with murderers, rapists, robbers because they are tied up trying to find football supporters who upset a over paid under worked entitled football player .... lets get our priorities right, we don't want a footballer upset, while young women are being raped, people are being robbed, just keep the footie player happy.

Thinking back to football, there is one phrase that seems to roll off the tongue in connection to football matches on the News. They all seem to be "tackling racism". It's like the word impact and also the word key, so they would say something like "The key thing is tackling the impact of racism in football."

Look it's football, what they aren't reporting that regardless to colour or creed football fans are ruthless, I can guarantee you that 'white football players' get equal abuse and death threats, but black football players think they take priority, I bet there is not ONE football player be them black/white who hasn't experienced during their career some sort of abuse, it goes with the territory, football is a passionate sport so are supporters, if football players don't want to take the good with the bad .... then LEAVE.

Football is like a cult addiction for men these days. All men are supposed to worship football and never to even think about using a church.
This is why the universal metaphor. I'm trying to explain how propaganda works. People don't look at it rationally, but with emotion. For example the average prole is excited by a top football player doing a skilful tackle. Now Rishi is associating this with how it will work in the middle of the English Channel with migrants. you'd think with top football payers there would not be a hope in hell of any migrant scoring the goal. How wrong you would be as well. They are simply shitting us. I was pointing out the metaphor is even bad in this instance unless they are Jesus and can walk on water, and then some.

Yes I know, but my point is still valid. It is a big mistake to think the general public are 100% rational. They are more like 5% rational and the rest is delusion, excitement, anger, frustration...
There is another dictionary as well which is used by all PR agents. Tackle would be along the lines of something the government is acting heroically over and yet doing nothing in substance.
